"Every man has in him something divine, something his own, a chance of strength and perfection in however small a sphere, which God offers him to take or refuse. The task is to find it, develop it, use it. The chief aim of education should be to help the growing soul to draw out that in itself which is best and make it perfect for a noble use."

~Sri Aurobindo.

Practices are adapted to suit individual needs and abilities and are useful tools for managing stress and connecting with a more peaceful state of being.

The practices provide an opportunity to develop greater insight and awareness of the many layers of our being, and the more subtle aspects of ourselves.  From this we can gain emotional self regulation, deeper self knowledge and awareness, a sense of deeper life meaning and purpose, and a deeper spiritual connection.

Exploring through the body, breath and mind with movement, postures (Asana), breathing practices (Pranayama), concentration (Dharana), self study (Svadhaya) and sound (Mantra, Vedic chants and/ or the gong) to still the mind and move beyond our physical, mental and emotional constraints.  By doing this we can prepare ourselves for opening more easily to the state of meditation, thereby merging with the deeper part of our being, our true spiritual nature.

Group practice runs for 1 hour dedicating approximately 30 minutes to asana (movement) with the remaining time for pranayama (breathing techniques), dharana (concentration techniques to prepare the mind for meditation), and mantra or gong sound immersion.
